
(CNN) - Sen. John McCain praised former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden Monday, saying that Clinton would be a strong presidential candidate and that it would be a mistake to count out Biden's chances for the White House.
According to Bloomberg, McCain was speaking to reporters after a joint breakfast appearance in Chicago with Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Illinois, when the 2008 Republican presidential nominee said that "I don't think there's any doubt that Secretary Clinton would be a very strong candidate."

(CNN) – In an interview with CNN's Fareed Zakaria, former President Bill Clinton stood by the Obama administration's pursuit of a deal with Russia for Syria to hand over its chemical weapons.
On a separate topic, Clinton called Larry Summers "a friend" but did not directly answer whether he should have removed his name Sunday from consideration for the chairmanship of the Federal Reserve.

(CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden will campaign in Florida on Wednesday, he told reporters at a Columbus, Ohio airport on Tuesday.
"Assuming things continue as they are, we're going to resume our schedule in Florida as scheduled starting tomorrow," Biden said.
