Obama campaign says it will be out-raised in June

Washington (CNN) - The big bucks being raised by Mitt Romney and the pro-Republican independent groups aiding his bid for the White House are a major concern, say top members of President Barack Obama's re-election team.

And one of the officials says he expects Romney's GOP presidential campaign to bring in $100 million in June, out-raising the Obama campaign for a second straight month.

Obama campaign hits Romney's Massachusetts record in new TV ad

Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama's re-election team is taking their attack on Republican challenger Mitt Romney's Massachusetts record into the ad wars.

The Obama campaign announced Monday that they're going up with a new television commercial titled "Heard it Before" with what they call "a significant buy" in nine battleground or swing states. On a conference call with reporters Monday, senior Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod estimated roughly $10 million will be spent on the spots.

Obama campaign announces April cash haul

Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama's re-election campaign says they brought in $43.6 million last month.

The campaign made their announcement early Wednesday morning on Twitter, saying "in April, #Obama2012 raised $43.6 million across committees. Thanks to everyone who pitched in."

Romney, Obama see eye-to-eye on student loans

Washington (CNN) - Call it the battle for the youth vote.

As President Barack Obama heads to three battleground states this week to push for an extension of a law that cuts interest rates on a popular federal student loan program for low and middle income undergraduates, Mitt Romney agreed with him on the issue.

Obama re-election team increases fundraising haul

Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama's re-election campaign announced Monday that they raised $53 million in March, up about $8 million from the month before.

The campaign made their announcement in a web video, which touted 567,000 donors last month, including 190,000 first time contributors. The campaign said 97% of donations were for $250 or less and that the average contribution was $50.78.
