(CNN) - A Pittsburgh judge on Friday barred enforcement of Pennsylvania's voter-identification law for the Nov. 5 general election, as well as any election that may come before.
State Judge Bernard McGinley's preliminary injunction means Pennsylvania will again go the polls with no enforcement of the law - a different judge made similar ruling a month before the 2012 presidential election.

(CNN) - With little good news coming out of Wall Street or Washington, President Barack Obama plans to tout his administration's role in an economic renaissance percolating along the west coast of Michigan during a scheduled visit Thursday.
It will be Obama's second visit to Holland, an emerging hub for hybrid car battery technology. Until recently, it was best known for sugar-white Lake Michigan beaches and its annual tulip festival.

"I want to say one thing about the campaign before I begin," Gingrich said to flashing bulbs and feverishly clacking laptops. "In July of 2007 Hillary Clinton was going to be the Democratic nominee and Rudy Giuliani the Republican (nominee). John McCain was out of money and written off by the press. The fact is campaigns go up and down."

(CNN) - Philadelphia high school junior Brandon Ford will be sitting in first lady Michelle Obama's box tonight for the State of the Union address after being a key member of the only high school team in a fuel efficiency challenge in 2009. But it was a fortuitous slip of the adolescent mind that got him the seat in the gallery.
West Philly Hybrid X finished 21st out of more than 100 teams from around the world who competed in the Progressive Insurance Automotive X Prize contest – impressive enough to earn them an invite and all-access White House tour back in September.
